Who We Are
The Brushy Mountain Shag Club is an organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the Carolina Shag Dance as well as R & B and Beach Music. For more information about Shag Dancing click here. The club offers monthly dance parties with DJ's playing the best of new and traditional Beach Music tunes. Shag Dancing lessons are also offered by the club and individuals at various times of the year.

North Wilkesboro, NC 28659
Cover charges are $5 for members and $7 for non-members. The Elks Lodge has a full service bar and a large non-smoking dance floor. The dining room at the Elks Lodge is open from 5:30 till 7 with a value filled buffet of great food. Every party includes snacks and desserts brought by members as well.
